LeaMichele Lea Michele Loves Being HealthyIn a world of size 0 or size 2 sample sizes, celebrities who are applauded for losing baby weight weeks after giving birth, and Hollywood health advice that isn’t always so healthy (or believable) it’s refreshing to hear about a celebrity with a truly healthy body image.

Glee’s Lea Michele graces the cover of Glamour’s October issue, but she’s no unattainable Glamour girl. Rather than a night out on the town, Michele fesses up and admits she’d rather stay home, watch TV and make a vegan baked ziti. It’s no wonder that tiny (5′ 2″!) Michele loves a home-cooked meal. “My mother’s side is Italian, my father’s side is Jewish,” explained Michele. “We’re the kind of family where every Sunday night we have differ with all 19 of my cousins.”

Michele clearly has all of the spunk of her character Rachel Berry, but unlike Berry, Michele’s confidence extends way beyond her big voice. She credits her family for her healthy outlook. “I love being healthy,” says Michele when asked how she stays fit. “I get a lot of sleep. I’m a girl who eats. And I feel beautiful no matter how I look. I have my family to thank for that. I’ll have a big Italian dinner and I don’t give a crap because it makes me happy.”
