Gloss Find: The Tea Spot Meditative Mind Tea
My mental health is waning of late — and being in 1,000 airports in one week doesn’t help. Especially when trips don’t go as planned.
My most successful way of de-stressing when I’m (gratefully) relaxing at home at the end of the day is to pull on a pair of yoga pants, get out my favorite mug, and brew a pot of Meditative Mind Tea ($10 for 2oz loose leaf) by The Tea Spot.
The white tea Chinese blend contains rosebuds and jasmine pearls for a subtly sweet flavor and an aromatherapy session you’d pay hundreds for in a fancy spa. Combined, the rose and jasmine relieve tension and leave you feeling relaxed and calm. Take a deep breath and inhale the tea vapors as you let your mind wash away your blues. Ahhh, perfect.
Except when it’s 2,000 miles away.
Although services were offered, I’ve never gotten acupuncture before because the thought of someone sticking needles into my body to relieve pain and stress seems like an oxymoron. As a victim of migraines it’s been recommended to me, but I still don’t want to go down that road.
