Web Overload? Alltop, Kirtsy Make Web Surfing Easier!

alltop 125x125 Web Overload? Alltop, Kirtsy Make Web Surfing Easier! The world wide web can be overwhelming! I use Alltop and a site called Kirtsy to help me navigate the web without becoming overloaded!

Alltop is the “online magazine rack” of the web.  Alltop collects the headlines of the latest stories from the best sites and blogs on the web.  Then Alltop groups these collections into individual web pages.

Alltop has grown like crazy in the past year and topics covered on Alltop run from adoption to zoology with photography, food, science, religion, celebrities, fashion, gaming, sports, politics, automobiles, Macintosh, and hundreds of other subjects along the way.

Since I have the attention span of a mosquito, Alltop helps me break up the web into little snack-sized bites.  Since I live my life on the web, I love it and told Alltop founder Guy Kawasaki that if I wasn’t already married, I’d marry it!

Girl geeks (like me) are addicted to Kirtsy! It’s been called  “Digg for Chicks” because the site has links to some of the best stories on the web that women like!  Unlike Digg, which has a heavily male audience, Kirtsy features the most popular stories in the areas of  Arts & Entertainment, Design & Crafts, Family & Parenting, and Food & Home. The women behind Kirtsy are Laura Mayes, Gabrielle Blair, Laurie Smithwick and Gwen Bell.

If you haven’t been on this fabulous site, you should be!  Popular stories on Kirtsy today include Barbie Cankles, Working Mom Myths, Why We Adopt and a few other topics women are interested in!

Don’t let the world wide web stress you out! Let technology work for you by using Alltop and Kirtsy!
