Borders is hosting New Moon Live, a global fan event online this afternoon, so #New Moon is a naturally hot topic on Twitter—-and on the rest of the planet earth.

The trending topic of #DrWho is interesting because it shows just how small the world has become with the use of social media! #Dr. Who and #DrWho are smokin’ hot on Twitter today because one of the final episodes of Dr. Who starring the beloved David Tennant is airing in the UK —-and the rest of the world is going wild!

Dr. Who and David Tennant fans from all over the globe are trying to get the details of the cliffhanger episode. It’s a very small world because of Twitter!

BBC America will air David Tennant’s final episodes as Doctor Who in December.

The three remaining shows will begin with Doctor Who: The Waters of Mars on Dec. 19. In it, The doctor and Adelaide (Lindsay Duncan) face terror on the Red Planet in one of their scariest adventures yet.

The following two episodes will air over the holiday season as a two-part special, although dates have not yet been set. Episodes starring Matt Smith as the new Doctor Who will begin airing next year.

Ohdeedoh (ohdeedoh.com) is the children’s section of the Apartment Therapy site: not just interiors but also good ideas about design and life with kids in general.
