Creepy Fun: Japanese Company Can Make a Mask of Your Face
Posted on October 12, 2011 by Aly Walansky
How much do you enjoy looking at yourself in the mirror?
Is it enough to…save the image in tangible form?
I guess it depends on the day…
A Japanese company named REAL-f makes incredibly realistic masks of people. Discovery reports that the company creates the masks by taking multiple photographs of a person from different positions; the images are then printed on vinyl resin. The realistic masks include even tiny details, such as pores and blood vessels!!!
Freaky. That’s one scary Halloween mask I am not investing in.
The masks are not cheap: They cost approximately $3,920 and Geekosystem says you can also have a complete mannequin-like head made for $5,875! No, thank you.
