Sound Off: Woman Tortured For 4 Days Over Facebook Message

Facebook has been cited as the reason why a California man allegedly bound and tortured his girlfriend for four days while their 3-year-old child was in the home.

According to authorities, 36-year-old Anthony Lozano attacked his girlfriend in a jealous rage after seeing message on her Facebook page. He is suspected of dragging the 23-year-old woman by her hair, and threatening to kill her before choking and beating her.

Lozano was arrested by King County sheriff deputies at his home over the weekend on a number of charges including false imprisonment, kidnapping, and torture. As of Monday night, he remained in custody on $725,000 bail.

This comes just two weeks after a hit list targeting teens in a Colombian town was posted on Facebook. Three teenagers named on the list have since been killed.
