Gloss Giveaway: Fujitsu SCANSNAP S1100 Scanner for PC/MAC

ScanSnap S11003 580x384 300x198 Gloss Giveaway: Fujitsu SCANSNAP S1100 Scanner for PC/MACA few months ago when I was checking out the glorious bounty that is CES, Fujitsu released its latest model in its ScanSnap scanner series. The S1100 is a mobile color scanner, smaller than my handbag.

Seriously, it is. It’s awesome.

So, Fijitsu sent me a model to play with, and shoe-box-of-an-apartment-always-on-the-go me is a fan already — super quick to install the software (and this is from a girl who has had a computer for a year and still can’t get her printer to work on it),  and it works with both the PC and Mac in my apartment.

I attend TONS of events and conferences — and this is GREAT for that — it weighs about half a pound,  and has this neat paper path system and fast front-side color scanning functionality to quickly scan anything from contracts and long receipts to business cards and plastic IDs. It’s also powered by a single USB cable, which converts scanned data into searchable PDF files and even allows users to quickly transform paperwork into editable Word and Excel files. Additionally, users can even scan documents directly to Evernote and Google Docs cloud services, making your paperwork and photos easy to store, share and access from just about anywhere.
