America’s Top 10 Dirtiest Cities

Travel & Leisure released their list of America’s Favorite Cities, which asked readers to rank U.S. cities across 10 different categories — one being cleanliness. Which cities do American’s find the dirtiest? They’re also the ones we think are lacking in the peace and quiet department, quality of public parks and overall environmental friendliness — which makes sense. Big cities including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas made the list but some of the filthy cities surprised us (St. Louis?). MSNBC has the 30 dirtiest cities listed — here’s a look at the top (or should we say bottom) ten according to Travel & Leisure‘s readers:
