Go Visit: Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation

Country superstar Carrie Underwood and Canadian hockey star Mike Fisher took over the entire The Ritz-Carlton Lodge in Greensboro for their wedding.

The  five-star hotel was named among the “World’s 500 Best Hotels” in Travel+Leisure Magazine in 2008.  The Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation is 75 from Atlanta and is a well-known destination for elegant weddings.

The Greensboro resort has plenty of activities for wedding guests including a 26,000 foot spa and fitness center, and a 99-hole championship golf course.
