Sandestin Resort is a Great Getaway for Families!

Some of the most beautiful beaches in the United States are in Destin, Florida. The sugar white beaches of Destin and the bright blue-green water of the Florida Gulf will take your breath away. One of my favorite resorts in this part of the country is the Sandestin Resort.

Families in the Southeastern United States flock to the Sandestin resort, when they visit Destin.  It’s heaven for family vacations.

Based on a recommendation from some friends, our family spent a vacation at Sandestin Resort a few years ago. The resort has tennis, swimming, games, shops, restaurants, golf—-it’s a little village within the town of Destin and we LOVED it.  We had bikes the whole time we were there and road our bikes everywhere within the Sandestin compound.  Here were some of the highlights of this resort for our family:

The Village of Baytowne Wharf  has shopping, great restaurants and fun little places for a cocktail or two.  All within the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. There are places for family fun or date night.

Fishing-My daughters love to fish.  The resort had little docks the kids could fish off of and the people at Sandestin were totally hooked in to the deep sea fishing or bay fishing.
