Thanks for the review! And no, you DON'T need to "chill"...you're a mother, thats what mothers do - they care..the youth shouldnt resent such love & concern. The media has a greater influence on the youth (& even adults) than many would like to admit. Its a well-known tool for propaganda & brainwashing. But thats another topic all together.

The Twilights are movies that, in my opinion, are way to mature for kids 12 and under to read. But as for the movies, they are ok but they make love seem so hard to get and worth dying for. Though both of these may be true, I do not think children 10 and under should be watching these movies. Twilight and New Moon were ok but I am very concerned about Eclipse and Breaking Dawn because those movies contain so much more sexual content. New moon earns a 3.2 stars out of 5 from me.

[...] Critics might not have kind words for The Twilight Saga: New Moon but as a mom I believe it’s a worthwhile movie. The main character, Bella Swan, is a strong young women who is true to herself. Bella isn’ta brainless shop-a-holic teen that is the norm …Read Original Story: Mom Review of 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' – myGLOSS [...]

Seriously lady, you need to chill out. Kids are a lot smarter these days than they used to be and the strong themes in this movie will doubtfully have a bad influence upon them in any way. When I was a kid we had kids' movies like Say Anything, The Goonies, Back to the Future. Those films dealt with far more complex issues in a far more sinister manner even than these recent Twilight flicks. You may recall director Catherine Hardwicke's first film before Twilight, "Thirteen" staring a very grown up Evan Rachel Wood. She may have been young, but the youngsters who like these Twilight films understand everything Wood's character went through in that film. Trust me, they know the difference between reality and fantasy (I should hope). Compared to what kids are like nowadays, Twilight is kiddie stuff. I mean, really. It's just fun. I think people (in general) read too much into this sort of stuff anyways.
