Wow - it is amazing at the negativity out there. I could not possibly have that many children and I would think most people should not. However, it is obvious they are raising and supporting their family on their own and I certainly do no think one can fake the obvious love and commitment they have to their children. I do not agree with everything they do, but they are certainly not harming their children in any way. Duggar family

This is to DJ,Kristina, brishta & last & least Anne.
Pray for God to clean up your dirty self righteous souls.
Christy & Julie said it well enough, but from myself get a life and spend time judging your own actions.

God bless and shield the Duggar family from player haters and the unkind thoughts. I want to see little Josie.
Amen

I really want to be careful what I say here. So, I am going to try to put this the best I can.

I am twenty-six years old and lost two twin boys last year around the same gestation as josie and I was very sick. What happed to Michelle can happen to anyone. (At any age).
I myself could not be more thrilled that Josie is ok and that they have a family full of healthy beautiful children.

There beliefs are good for many reasons. I can't think of one thing that this world has handed me that I could not live without. I am not talking about traveling, family, friends or even enjoying your life. I am talking about nasty music or even things I have seen on billboards that I could live without. There are alot of very bad people who get their ideas from those very places.

The girls are awesome. I am the oldest and I have a younger sister and I would have loved to have had more. What makes no sense about the comments is this- highschools are just trying to accomplish getting the point accross just as the Duggars have done. They send you home with plastic baby dolls that cry all night and they just cross their fingers that they get their point accross. As a young girl it is great to know what kind of responsibility a child is.
In addition..there is nothing wrong with making a difference in your brother or sisters life. Its more important to the success of that family than you will ever know.

May God Bless you and keep you all.

Okay I have no problem with large families [I'm Catholic after all lol.] but it is so unfair that people can get a TV show and so much attention and resources just because they have TOO MANY kids. It's a bit like John and Kate plus 8 and Octomom. Kids are supposed to be blessings, little human beings, not a hook for a TV show. And I think with the risk of overpopulation and resources being stretched as it is, that they need to CALM DOWN and stop it at 5, not 20! I'm not gonna make room for them just because their parents can't stop doing it. And the older girls are going to have to be mothers when they should be having their own childhood. Your kids need to be kids, not free babysitters! And despite the fact that her health problems are obviously a side-effect of her parents' innability to quit while they were ahead [many kids ago], I wish little Josie the best of luck and a full, happy life.

But, Who really knows this family and what the kids really think..good or bad? I had 4 children and I was spread thin, I did depend on my older child to help me a little here and there but the ultimate responsibility was ours and it is wrong to place too much adult responsibility on a growing child. It has to be way easier for them since their kids don't really know any better due to their sheltered life styles.

I don't think this family is as perfect as some may think. They have their issues with the children like the younger ones climbing on the outside of the staircase and getting into candy, and the older children needing braces and learning how to drive. I also see that some of the older children are more interested in caring for the little ones, while others are interested in cooking. The children are allowed to enjoy individual interests like playing an instrument and working on cars. The parents seem to enjoy each of their children's personalities. You know, it is very similar to a teacher knowing her 25 students. I can tell you it is a challenge, but one person can spread a lot of love and care.

Kristina I absolutely agree. I think they are selfish to keep having so many kids. She is 42 they have to be trying really hard to get pregnant. Like you said having sex ALL THE TIME. I am waiting for the kids to grow up and rebel, write a book, go on talk shows, to talk about how nutty the family is.
