Easy question, because the world is overpopulated as it is and these people are selfish no one can possibly give all their love and attention equally between 19 children, it is selfish to the children to have to take care of the other children because Mom and Dad aren’t thinking about them, they are thinking of all the attention it brings to them. They are like a freak show.

The Duggars are rediculous! 19 kids?! i think they’re just in it for the money. WTF. She needs to put a cap in it. I’m sure in reality they wouldnt have that much kids if they didnt have that much money and the only reason they have so much money is because of TLC. I think they’re trying to build some kind of child labor system thats why they want more kids. STOP IT! look at ur last baby.. she’s premature. QUIT it! It’s pretty nasty! Its not like
Kate plus 8. She had multiples and she couldnt keep that from happening, but Michelle and her husband just needs to stop. Okay, we get it, u have 19 childern. good for you, but im sure theres other people out there that have the same story as they do, but is not getting filmed and have that much money. Wayy too many kids. They’re lucky they can support and discipline all of them, but not for long. When they all grown up.. its gonna slowly go downhill.

I believe Michelle’s body is trying to tell her something. After the birth of #19, it is clear that some of her body parts are starting to be damaged. It is obvious that the older children are just baby-sitters. I think that having more kids and making the older children care for them is a form of child abuse.

The Duggars catch our attention because of family size and the parents’ personalities. They easily “sell” themselves with confidence and convictions through example and explanations. Michelle would be first to say “To each their own”. And perhaps that is a lesson unto itself. Whatever their lifestyle is they’re teaching the family cooperation, tolerance, acceptance, responsibility, self-improvement, skills enrichment, becoming entreapreneurs. How much more of a challenge to accomplish all of this with 19 instead of a couple? That’s the REAL point of the show. The other point is, who knows which child of the next generation, will make a critical and positive contribution to society that may change the lives of countless people? Wouldn’t this be God’s decision and not an individual’s?

I love watching the show. The children are well behaved, would like the rest of the world to take note. They save money by home schooling, making there own soap, own 20 acres, house paid for. Rent out buildings for commercial use for income besides the show as income. Every body whines about all the children they have, no one is paying for it with there taxes, because there not on welfare. I do admit they have enough children, but that is there business. I also think this last child is a way of God saying you have enough children. My God, the mother and child could of lost there lives, the baby is still having medical problems that ought to wake them up and say we have enough children.What I’m plabergasted at,the dad said they don’t know how to grow anything!Such a large family and all those acres and NO GARDEN. Thats amazing! They could save even more growing there own vegetables.

Those of us who have a problem with The Duggars don’t hate them, and it’s just silly to pretend that there are only two ways to feel about this family, either loving them or hating them. I’m torn about them. There are certain things about this family that I enjoy, and some things I have a problem with. The things I have a problem with are: 1. They are making the older kids raise the younger kids, and that’s totally unfair. If Jim Bob and Michelle want to have 100 kids, that’s their choice, but it wasn’t their children’s choice and so they shouldn’t have to be responsible for their parents choices. 2. The parents are exploiting their children on national TV. and 3. Jim Bob and Michelle are trying to force their choices off on other people. They are very active in the pro-life movement, and Jim Bob was once a state representative who was trying to push his Biblical view of how people should live off on others. If he wants to live his life according to the Bible then that’s his choice, but it’s my choice not to.

I don’t understand what is so honorable about adopting 19 children if you don’t have the necessary conditions of raise them…
and about the supposedly not enough time for the children , how many parents of 2 children are spending enough time with their children nowadays in a dual income family…childminders … are the real mother to those children nowadays at least in the duggar family their “nannies” (as some people claim about the older girls helping with the younger kids)are family members not strangers being paid to do so…
