Can’t get your baby to stop crying? There’s an app for that.
The new Cry Translator iPhone app will tell you why your baby is crying in less than 10 seconds. Yup, just hold the phone up to your wailing child and in moments, you’ll have the diagnosis and how to fix it.
According to the makers, the Cry Translator “listens to a whining infant and analyzes the pitch, volume, tone and inflection of his nerve-jangling noise. Ten seconds later, it provides you with one of five ‘translations’: hungry, sleepy, stressed, annoyed or bored.”
Wow. Amazing. I have no idea how new parents survived up until now without such technology.
Of course, the advice will cost ya: the app is normally $29.99, but it’s on sale for $9.99 through November 11, 2009.
