Mario Lopez: Dad to Be!

Extra host Mario Lopez — who was named People’s ‘Bachelor of the Year” two years ago — is getting ready to start a family! Mario announced today that he and girlfriend Courtney Mazza are expecting a baby in the fall!

The dad-to-be is thrilled and isn’t planning to find out the sex of the baby: “I grew up in a large family. I’m fired up! I don’t know what we’re having. I’m going to wait to see [the baby's gender] so it will be a surprise,” he told PEOPLE magazine.

The couple met in New York in 2008 — the same year Lopez was “Bachelor of the Year” — while performing in A Chorus Line.
