Fall is here and we’re loving all the adorable, warmer options for preschoolers! But, as any practical mom will attest, cute and stylish is one thing, but the duds need to stand up to preschool play too.
So, we’re rounding up our favorite looks for preschool girls and boys that are stylish, comfortable and durable.
One of my favorite labels for girls and boys, Shrnk‘s fall line has adorable designs made in super-soft cotton like the pink ruffle tee pictured above. My boys have been wearing Shrnk for years and they LAST. My youngest is wearing hand-me-downs that his brother wore and they’re still in perfect condition. Some of my favorite fall picks:
Peacoat with Hood: How cute is this coat? I’d wear this if they made adult styles–it’s warm and cozy and super stylish.
Tulle Skirt: An adorable skirt with black tulle underneath. Perfect with leggings or tights!

Boys Long Sleeve Sage Car Tee: Again, in Shrnk‘s trademark soft cotton, this long sleeve tee is stylish and I love the pale green color.

Pride In My Ride Layered Tee: The built-in layered tee look and biker graphics on this shirt are too cool. Fun and perfect for a day on the playground!

Long-lasting and affordable, Company Kids items wash well and don’t fade. My faves:
Mock-Layer Top: More layers for warmth and style. Plus I love the whimsical embroided tree design. $6.99.
Metallic Leggings: Cute, shiny leggings are cozy and easy to jump around, hang off the monkey bars in while staying warm and looking stylish! $29.
Zip Rugby: Collared thick cotton, this classic rugby adds a zipper for a modern upgrade and can be used as a warm top or layered. $32.

Microfiber Pants: Sporty and cozy, these soft pants with an elastic waistband are all about play! Love the deep pockets for collecting rocks and other treasures. $14.99.
Another one of my favorites, Boden has gorgeous items that last.
Funky Pinafore: The name of this dress is perfect! Just add tights for a lovely, girly outfit. Love it. $44.
Shaggy Hoodie: The shaggy lining in this super-warm hoodie reminds be of a flokati rug, but it works…and well. Ridiculously warm and ruggedly cool at the same time. $50.
Lined Cargos: The Boden folks call them “baggies” — which basically translates to cozy, elastic waist cargos. So durable, my boys have put these through every possible opportunity to rip them or wear them down, but they still look new. $34.
