Budget Gift Ideas for Teen Fashionistas

Gift shopping for a teen or tween fashionista is tough!  The problem with many younger fashion mavens is they love clothes and accessories but they have no concept of money.  My tween fashionista is under the impression that money grows on a tree in our yard—does this sound familiar?

I’ve found some great deals on some cool stuff that your tween or teen girl will love! You don’t have to spend a small fortune to find hip and fashion forward gifts.

Walmart

Believe it or not, Walmart has some fabulous stuff for young fashion mavens at bargain prices. Teen queen Miley Cyrus has teamed up with Max Azria to create a juniors collection at Wal-Mart.  Her line of tops, pants, graphic tees, and shoes are all priced under $20.  I got my tween a pair of  Miley’s Buttoned Sweater Leggings for $8.00!

One of the hippest indie brands, Little Earth, is at Walmart!  I couldn’t believe my luck when I discovered Little Earth’s cool purses could be found at Walmart.  I got my tween fashion maven a Little Earth  ‘If the Shoe Fits’ Designer Purse. This purse is made from aluminum plates printed with stunning graphics, wrapped around two 4″ chrome hubcaps. All Little Earth products are fun and very eco-friendly. The purse I got my daughter was $38 but she’s going to think I spent way more than that because she loves the Little Earth brand.

Kohls

Kohls is a great place to find hot teen and tween gifts without spending a lot of money.   I found some cool Hoodies at Kohls that look like the very expensive Lucky Brand hoodies my teen daughter is fond of.  The Kohls hoodie was $29.00 (compared to the Lucky Brand hoodies for $12o+).

I also found a sterling silver charm bracelet for my tween daughter for $20 at Kohls!  The silver charm bracelet is fabulous, real silver and is normally $80. Sweet.

CafePress

CafePress is a great place to find unique, one-of-a-kind gifts for teens and tweens.  My teen daughter likes quirky, funny t-shirts, so I got her a tee that says Bacon is Meat Candy. I don’t know what it means but I know she’s going to wear it!  This Bacon tee is only $9 so I’m excited!

My older daughter is a Star Trek fan and so I jumped for joy when I found a Star Trek tee at CafePress for only $9!  If you have a Trekkie on your gift list, check out this Star Trek tee!
