Chic storage means less clutter in my house. I’m the mother of girls, so I’ve found that my kids will put stuff away more often if they have cool, chic storage options. One of my faves for storage is The MacBeth Collection. They have dreamy, fun and whimsical designs for bins, buckets and all kinds of office items. Here are a few of the zillions of storage ideas from this fab store:
Tiny Bin ($25 at TheMacBethCollection.com)
These are perfect for hair accessories, keys or anything that needs a pretty home.
Bucket o’ Storage ($25 at TheMacBethCollection.com)
Adorable buckets with fun designs! Perfect for a home office or even in the kitchen!
You don’t have to spend a fortune to create “cool” storage for kids. As my girls have gotten older, I buy clear glass jars (used for kitchen or bathroom storage) to corral the clutter around desks and study areas. If glass isn’t practical for your kids, I’ve used acrylic boxes for desk storage.
Glass Jars ($13.69 at Target)
I love the apothecary look of these jars for paperclips, stickers, etc.

Acrylic Boxes ($12.99 at TheContainerStore)
These also work for desktop essentials like push pins, binder clips and more.
Desktop storage for pencils, pens and rulers can be fun if you know where to shop! See Jane Work offers way cool ways to store those No. 2 Pencils! I love these Pencil Cups. (SeeJaneWork).
My girls are both artistic, so I have paper, pencils and artwork all over the place. I want to encourage my budding artists but having clutter everywhere drives me crazy! Tool kits work well for art supply storage, and tool kits are a chic but cheap solution!
Tool and Hobby Kit (TheContainerStore)
This three-tiered hobby kit is ideal for keeping pencils, art supplies, glitter, glue…you name it…organized and because it’s made of translucent plastic, it’s easy to see what’s inside.

Kids Art Portfolio ($27.95 at Schoolfolio.com)
We’re a fan of Schoolfolio‘s portable cases that keep art and schoolwork together. No clutter = happy mama!
