Yes, you read it right. Cocktails are good for your health. So whether you need a glass of red each night to wind down or enjoy occasional summer time margaritas, there’s no need to feel guilty. Cheers to that!
Ladies who drink alcohol in moderation gain less weight and are less likely to become overweight or obese than non-drinkers, a study done by doctors affiliated with Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard School of Public Health in Boston, Mass. stated.
Don’t get too excited and start downing pitchers of sangria – as with anything, moderation is key. For women one drink a day is… average and men are allowed two drinks per day. It’s also important to pay attention to what you’re drinking. Mixers can add a lot of sugar and calories to a cocktail. Opt for a diet coke instead of coke, or better yet try club soda.
If you’re a non-drinker, there’s no need to start drinking because of the study. It’s just a reminder and clarification that in moderation you can eat and drink what you want.
Good thing, I have friends who drink every Friday and that could be the reason why all of us have slim body but some belly fat
nnBtw, I disagree with diet coke, as we all know it contains aspartame that can cause cancer.
