Le Creuset makes cast iron french ovens that all my friends–who are great cooks–swear by. In an attempt to make some new recipes for family dinner, I discovered that I really need to buy a covered pot that can multi-task: it has to go in the oven, on the stovetop and into the refrigerator. OK, so they call the color ‘Cassis’, they can call it whatever they want — it’s gorgeous and I want it all. For those who prefer lighter shades, they also offer a fantastic lilac hue.
