In honor of this weekend’s 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, we’ve been peeking into some of your favorite celeb kitchens to see what this year’s nominees have been whipping up. Tune into the awards show live on Sunday, August 29 at 8pm EST.
We can’t talk about the Emmy’s all weekend long and ignore our fearless host. This year Jimmy Fallon is hosting live from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, California, tonight on NBC. The network even announced recently that for the first time in 30 years, the Emmy Awards will air live from coast-to-coast.
So, even if it’s too late to whip up Fallon’s favorite snacks for your viewing parties, you can channel the famed TV personality all week with some of his favorite meals and recipes.
Cacio e Pepe: In April Mario Batali visited Fallon’s late night show and whipped up some Capellini with Cacio e Pepe. While we don’t know if he cooks it at home, it’s safe to say that you can, too.
Crock Pot Chili: If Martha thinks it’s good enough to post, so do I. As autumn rolls in (and it’s almost here) try Fallon’s chili recipe that’s easy to toss together and will cook in your crock pot while you go about the rest of your day.
Texas Popcorn: Your kids might love this quirky after school snack, one that Selena Gomez shared with Fallon on his show. Yes, there’s pickle juice in the popcorn.
Stuffed Peppers: Bethenny Frankel has been cooking for celebs left and right these days. From muffins for Mariska Hargitay to stuffed peppers for Fallon, whether you’re looking for lunch, dinner or even a late night snack, try this recipe.
