Gloss Find: Le Creuset in Purple

Le Creuset makes cast iron french ovens that all my friends–who are great cooks–swear by. In an attempt to make some new recipes for family dinner, I discovered that I really need to buy a covered pot that can multi-task: it has to go in the oven, on the stovetop and into the refrigerator. That’s why Le Creuset it perfect — it can do all that and can even go in the dishwasher.

Several times, I have gone to the store and debated about which color to buy, but no more. I’ve found it: the new exclusive purple Le Creuset at Sur La Table. OK, so they call the color ‘Cassis’, they can call it whatever they want — it’s gorgeous and I want it all. For those who prefer lighter shades, they also offer a fantastic lilac hue.

Now…what recipe should I try first? If I learned how to make a tasty brisket, my family would be in heaven.
